Meet Eliza

Hello I am easy going, engaging friendly individual who loves being around children. For most of my life I have acted as a child care provider for a wide spectrum of children in a variety of formats. During my undergraduate years I spent a lot of time leading programming for children and youth in the woods as an outdoor educator and naturalist. I love spending time exploring in nature; going for walks and hikes with my dog, taking long swims in the local pond, observing different plants, trees and animals. In working with little ones I really love engaging in creative imaginative play and following their passions and interests as much as possible; while also trying to put a limit on overall screen time. Activities that I enjoy doing with kids include: nature walks, fairy houses and nature art, shelter building, making music and crafts, singing, playing games, and telling, Read more reading and performing stories. As an individual I am very compassionate, intuitive and empathic; as well as a thoughtful listener. I recently finished a job work as intern for the National Park Service in northwestern New Mexico and am trying to figure out what I want this coming year to look like for me (Eventually I would like to start graduate school). I am currently residing in southern New Hampshire and am looking for work that can tide me over during the pandemic. I am willing to relocate and have my own personal vehicle.
