Hi, my name is Katy Clement. I am a recent University of Maine graduate looking to nanny part-time. I have a degree in business management and a minor in child development and family relations. I'm 23, so I have a lot of energy to keep up with busy kids. Throughout college during the summer I worked at the town of Berwick summer camp as a camp counselor and absolutely loved it! I had so much fun hanging out with the kids, playing games with them, and watching them all grow over the years. In addition to being a camp counselor I have experience babysitting children from the ages of 3 to 10. I worked at the University of Maine Tutor Program and have a minor in English, so I love to read and am more than happy to help kids with homework. Upon graduation I got a job working as Read more an HR assistant at an IT company but I only work 7:30 to 2:30, so an after-school nannying position would be perfect! Before becoming a business major I was a secondary English education major, so combine that with my summers camp counseling I have a lot of experience with working with kids in both fun and educational settings. I have a clean driving record, have been first-aide and CPR certified (would be more than happy to re-certify) and have received yearly training on hands-only CPR. I am also available weekends! I've grown up with dogs (I have a 5 year old lab named Brady) so I'm more than happy to help out with any pets around the house.
