I have worked with kids for 3 years now! I have 3 years of experience with 5-10 year olds working at my elementary schools 21st century after care program. At this job I create and lead activities for the kids to engage in, usually groups of 10-15 with assistance from an aid. I have also worked at a daycare near my university this past school year. At this job I work in the pre-k room with 3-4 year olds, here my job was to relieve the classroom teacher and watch the kids during the last few hours of their day when they usually had free time. I was also responsible for cleaning the entire room for the morning teachers, including disinfecting the toys, all play stations, the bathroom, water bottles, and moping the floor.
