I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and 25 years of experience caring for children from infants to teenagers, including babysitting, being a nanny/household manager, teaching preschool, teaching gymnastics, and coaching cheerleading. I also have my own small business (Braids and Butterflies Spa Parties), hosting spa parties for girls ages 4 to 12. I have been working with children my entire adult life, and couldn't see myself doing anything else. Finding the "right fit" is very important to me, as I believe that communication is key and things go much more smoothly when everyone is on the same page. Being a nanny is more than a job to me; I form lasting relationships with the families that I care for, and I take pride in becoming an extension of family to the children in my care. Hi my name is Christina, I am a 30 year old single mommy to a 3.5 year old little boy and we are looking to fill our days with some fun as well as help some fellow mommy's and daddy's. I have decided to put my culinary career on hold as I haven't been able to find reliable childcare since the pandemic and cook life doesn't always coincide with parent life. I used to fill my time after high school watching my mother's friends children. I enjoyed it so much that I watched families from time to time while working night shifts after I graduated. While looking for the perfect chef job I found a nanny job and I loved that family so much I nannied for their family of 3 children full time for a year and then as needed for 4 years after. My son loves other kids but doesn't have much interaction with them. We are hoping to find some new friends and have some fun along the way.
