• Comfortable with pets

My interactions with children have always been my most fulfilling times. Before my children were born I was a Riding Instructor at an Equestrian Academy in Holmdel, where the average age of my students was from 5 to 10 yrs old. My approach to teaching was based on a mutual communication between horse and rider. The child can not force this very large animal to do something, but if they know how to ask, they can coax them into doing almost anything. After my children were born I was a part of a community babysitting co-op of which I totally enjoyed. I also owned and operated a Travel Agency for 29 yrs. Our office was set up with a "family space" so we could operate our business and tend the needs of our 2 children and our employees children. The space was equipped with toys, multi-media crafts, and a small Read more library to meet all of their developmental needs. I hope to apply my commitment and dedication to a family, willing to give me an opportunity to share these skills.
