Hi! My name is Dani Marchesini and am a 22 year old looking to be a full time nanny. I have received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Georgia and am currently in the process of earning a masters degree in education, special education, and teaching the deaf of hard of hearing. The classes are all online and designed for individuals who work full-time jobs, so that should never be an issue! Along with my education, I have a lot of experience working with kids. Two summers ago, I worked as a camp counselor for a camp called Extra Special People (ESP). ESP is a camp for children and adults with special needs. As a counselor, I learned how to modify activities, use strategies to strengthen good behaviors, and to continuously communicate with parents to ensure that their children were in good hands. Along with being a Read more camp counselor, I also worked at a daycare in Athens, Georgia called Little Prodigies. At the daycare, I learned how to feed, change, and care for babies and toddlers that ranged from 1 month to 4 years of age. Finally, I have also worked as a parent adviser for a company called Georgia PINES. Georgia PINES is a early home intervention service for families of children with vision loss, hearing loss, and multiple disabilities. As a parent adviser, it was my responsibility to show and teach a parent how to enhance his or her child's motor, communication, hearing, vision, and cognitive development through different games, activities, and general strategies that I had been trained to teach. I am a very easygoing, active, and dedicated worker and would love the opportunity to work for you and your family!
