Hi!! I’m Emily I’m 30 years old and I live in Brick with my 2 almost 3 year old son. I have close to 13 years experience in child care, including nearly 3 years of parenting & personal experience. In college I had studied Early Childhood Development for two years as well. I love working with children whether I’m helping them learn or just having fun, it’s a rewarding line of work. I have experience ranging from newborns to 14 year old children. I have a very friendly, caring and nurturing personality and I love to help and provide care to those who need it. I love reading, music, arts & crafts, helping with school work, or helping reach important milestones for our little ones. Over the years I have worked with several different families where I was a full time nanny, mother’s helper, or an occasional babysitter. Sometimes I would be working with a few families at the same time. My experience has definitely been very diverse & fun. I’ve watched up to 6 children at once, triplets, children with special needs & have done overnights from 5-7 days if the parents were going on a vacation or business trips. In addition to childcare, I studied Nursing & Psychology in college and have worked in healthcare for 11 years and just recently took a step back from the hands on clinical work and now I work full-time as an Intake Coordinator for an inpatient treatment center.
