I am currently a student at BMCC college, my major is Early childhood education. I've known since a young child that I loved babies and kids. I have been babysitting family members and friends kids since I could remember. Being around kids is like a breath of fresh air. In addition to babysitting I have done internships with toddlers. My most recent was a 90 hr intern for Fedkids at the federal plaza building. I dealt with 1-2 yr old toddlers. I assisted with redirecting behavior, snacks,lunch, play time and daily activities.Before that I was a after school counselor for 1st graders at p.s 169. I had to assist with homework, distribute snacks, and allow free time. I'm currently in my last yr at BMCC college after my associates degree I will be further pursuing my childhood education credentials in a four year college. I someday would like to open Read more my own daycare in the future. I enjoy the joy that kids bring in your life. They are like sponges absorbing all that life brings to them. I just love being apart of their development. ☺
