Hi! My name is Faith and I am a fun-loving, caring, structured babysitter with over 11 years of experience as well as CPR certified. This past may I graduated from Fairfield U with majors in International Business and Marketing as well as a minor in Sociology. I just recently moved to Stamford CT but was unfortunately apart of layoffs in my company and am now available to help out full time. Starting my junior year at Fairfield I nannied four days a week for a family of four. With this family I picked the kids up from school, helped them with their homework, fed the dogs, drove them to and from activities, and helped their mom with anything she needed. Previously, at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic I began nannying full-time from 7 AM to 7 PM for three children (ages 3,5,7) in addition to online classes. Some of Read more my daily tasks included but were not limited to; getting the children ready for the day (and then later on bedtime), online school, meal preparation, running errands, and of course hanging out and having fun- I did this from March through August and continue to nanny for this family on breaks at home. While at home I also help with my best friend and brother who is severely autistic. My brother is only 11 months younger than me and so having any sibling, nonetheless, one who is so close in age has taught me how to work with someone who is severely disabled. I have been trained by professionals on how to effectively communicate with my brother (who is nonverbal), calm down a meltdown or violent outbreak, and assist him in everyday tasks, amongst countless other skills. Most importantly, my brother has taught me patience and love. My experience does not stop there- I have been babysitting for over a dozen families since middle school, many of which I met since their children enjoyed me so much as their camp counselor at our community center summer camp or church's bible camp (both of which I was group leaders at). Outside of summer camp, I also found many babysitting jobs at the spin studio I worked at after practice during high school where I watched the children as their parents attended classes. Besides working, I was president of campus ministry, taught two classes, had a year long senior fellowship, and was involved in many other things at Fairfield!

Faith is wonderful to my 10 year old boy who has autism. She is patient and caring. I trust her not just with his well-being. She has free access to my home whether I am there of not. She picks him from daycare in the evenings and takes him to the school bus in the mornings. I highly recommend her.
