My name is Seth Newell and I am a 21 year old male going into my senior year of college. I am attending Cairn University (Langhorne, PA) studying to obtain a dual degree (B.S. in Bible and a Master's in Business Administration). I tell people all the time that I am the "fakest" business major that they will ever meet. I have a heart for children but not the gifts to be a teacher. I grew up as a missionary kid overseas in Nairobi, Kenya for about half of my life. I went to school a small international school and as I went through high school I realized that my teachers weren't necessarily the individuals that were making the biggest impact in my life; coaches, guidance counselors, and parents of my friends that worked at the school in business administrative roles were. I have a gift and a skill set Read more for business but also for children as well. My career goal is to one day go overseas and work at an international school much like the one that I attended and use my business training to help the school but also be able to make an impact on the children that will be attending the school daily. I have a good deal of babysitting experience. I have babysat children ages 4-12. Last summer I worked at the missionary HQ that sent my family to Kenya with the missionary kids that were either going overseas or returning to the US from being overseas. I was able to be part of a team that helped these children prepare to live in a foreign country or help them re-adjust to life back in America. It was a fantastic experience.
