Meet Hailey

I started nannying in New York City three years ago. For 1 year I took care of a 10 year old girl. I would take her to afternoon activities while her parents were in town. The parents would travel for 10 days at a time, while they were away I was completely in charge of her care. I enjoyed spending one on one time with her and bonding with her. We became very close, she moved to Switzerland two years ago but we still talk all the time. When the first family moved away they recommended me to other families in Greenwich Village. I began working for a family with three children, twin girls who are now 10 and a boy who is 12. The boy can be challenging because of his severe ADHD but I have always been able to handle his needs. I strive to provide these children Read more with the absolute best care possible. They are three hard working, passionate kids and I enjoy helping them work to the best of their abilities. I have spent countless hours with them and they know I support them and they can confide in me. It has been so rewarding to see my impact on them. Every time I see them they share how the things I have taught them have helped them. I am so honored to be a part of their lives, they have taught me so much. I have decided I need to look for a more full time nanny job this summer. I am very good at communicating with both children and parents. I always keep the parents well informed. I am very compassionate and a hard working caregiver. I have references to help support this. Currently I am attending Montclair State University. I am a psychology major and a dance minor. I hope to one day be a dance and movement therapist. With a focus on helping children.
