Hi. My name is Kathy. I have been happily married for thirty years. I am blessed to be the mom of a beautiful 20 year old daughter who Is currently in college studying to be an ER nurse. I am 51 years old and have decided to leave the business world I have been in since the age of 18 and pursue what I truly enjoy - taking care of and nurturing children. Most of my career experience is in the business world. I worked as a Principal's Secretary at an Elementary School in Howell for a number of years and I loved the daily interaction with the students. I've also worked in the library at a Howell Middle School where again I interacted and helped students all day long. For a few years, I was employed by Monmouth Council of Girl Scouts. My heart was always telling me to Read more be near children. I am currently enrolled in a CPR course and have babysat for neices, nephews and neighborhood children. I enjoy crafts, painting, reading, and playing silly games that my mom taught me. (Itsy Bitsy Spider, Roundy, Roundy, Bally, Red Light, Green Light, and Simon Says). I absolutely love the beach, collecting sea shells and then coming home to paint them. I love being outdoors when the weather is nice collecting beautiful leaves in the fall, picking flowers in the spring or cuddling up and watching a Disney movie on a cold rainy day. Besides my husband and daughter, my rescue Bichon Frise, is the other love of my life I know from experience the worry and guilt a working mom feels as I too was a working mom. I left my 3 month old daughter with a nanny every day but having someone that treated my little girl like she was a member of their family really put my mind at ease. . That gave me such a piece of mind especially when my daughter was not feeling well and I left her with the Nanny. I am confident that II can keep your children fully entertained , while at the same time main ting a meat and tidy home. I have numerous Letters of Reference from the business world but can put you in contact with individuals who can attest to how loving, nurturing and responsible I am.
