Growing up, I was 1 of 5 kids and spent most of my time watching over my younger siblings. In the last 4 years, I have worked long term for 2 families and summers for another. I have experience in working with 2-4 children at a time, boys and girls, from ages 5-12. As a sitter I always make sure to keep the home tidy, follow whatever instructions given, and help with homework, dinner, and driving. I believe that through my experience I have a balance of working with discipline but also being able to get along well and play with the kids so it is enjoyable for them. I try to spend time doing activities with the kids, outdoors, crafts, reading, etc. rather than television.
