Despite my age, I have a surprisingly large background in watching children of all ages and personality types. I have cared for children for most of my teenage life as a side job at my church (watching multiple kids at a time) that both my parents pastor, and I have privately cared for children in their own home. However, for the past 2 years I have had more of a serious job watching a little girl (age 9 now) Tuesday through Friday every week. I am very interested in this position because it seems to fit my schedule perfectly. I am about to graduate high school and I am finishing my vocational school program next year in town; my job couldn't take up too many hours after including all my regular activities- including school. However now I am looking for a full-time summer job that could possibly even turn into Read more a part-time back-to-school job; it doesn't really matter to me I am open to anything. I am fun-loving, trustworthy, responsible, flexible, and timely. I have a great time with kids and I tend to have a very playful side to myself. In my free time I like to play the piano (11 years), guitar (5 years) and I sing often at my local church. I am very into music and every way it gets produced (thats what i go to vocational school for). I got it mostly from my father's side of the family. His family has had music in their blood for generations. Like I slightly mentioned earlier, my father's family has had a background in pastoring churches. From being involved in my church and having a relationship with God I have learned to see each human for their full potential and value. I never give up on a person, and I truly do love all people, everyone deserves a chance in life. I hope to instill values of kindness and positivity into children when I am with them, aside from simply entertaining them and having fun with them (although I do love that). Children learn the most from their childhood years and I really would love to capture these moments for them and provide healthy and fundamental values that will stay with them throughout their life.
