I'm an artistic person with a big heart and lots of love to give! I strive to bring out creativity in children and engage them. I love seeing them get passionate about something like art, music, learning, or what ever they are interested in. Encouraging them to do what they love is what I love about being a nanny. One year, I surprised my little cousin by showing up to her kindergarten class for "show and tell". I did a little art tutorial on how to draw insects, which was what they were learning about at the time. Teaching the kids how to draw ladybugs and fireflies was such a blast. The class showed so much enthusiasm about their artwork that they insisted that I come back again! I've been caring for children through the years since I was 13 for family members, friends of family, and neighbors. I have Read more experience with children of all ages from infants to preteens and all different personalities. Whether they were 2 years old, or 12 years old, kids seem to love having me as their babysitter! I like to spend time with them, interact, and get to know them as individuals. I provide a nurturing, yet structured environment for the children I care for.
