I like working with kids because is a natural thing for me, the opportunity I had to look after my siblings gave me a lot to learn about dealing with and understanding children. But I'd say that the biggest learning is that it's more than a job, we have a lot to learn from them. I started looking after children at the age of 14 when my brother was born. My mother worked, so when I wasn't at school I looked after him. When I finished high school, I got another brother, and at that time my mother worked two jobs and I stayed at home looking after them both, from wake-up to bedtime. When they started going to school, I did extra babysitting, until I came to the USA as an au pair for a year and a half. In my spare time, I like to read books, go Read more to parks, see new places, video chat with my family, going to the gym, trying to learn a new language and go out to eat with my friends. My skills include patience, communication, safety awareness, creativity, empathy... My exchange ends on July 17th, the earliest I could start would be the 10th because I have a week's vacation and I'm taking the last week of the exchange. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
