Hey! My name is Anika (she/her), I am a Junior at Earlham College working to become a therapist. I really like getting to know people as individuals and finding ways to support their growth and development. I have been working with people ages 5-17 for over 7 years in a variety of different settings such as tutoring or teaching dance classes. I can help with almost anything, even filling out college or job applications! I am extremely reliable and very flexible so I can accommodate your schedule and needs. I have a car, don't smoke, am comfortable supervising swimming, and can perform first aid and keep calm under pressure. I am fully vaccinated as of 4/21/21 (Pfizer!) and committed to keeping everyone healthy and happy! I will be available to work from 6/2 until 7/31 when I return to college. I retired at 16 and went on to compete in team policy debate where I ranked fourth in the northeastern region in my last season. I eventually took on leadership roles in all three activities where I worked very closely with teams of younger people. I still coach debate but spend most of my free time giving my friends (sometimes unsolicited) life advice and working in student advocacy groups at my college. I really like playing board games (smash up is a personal favorite), watching movies, and spending time outdoors (especially the beach!). I was known throughout middle and high school for baking and can make a mean cookie brownie!
