Hey there! My name is Shannon Nilson. I am 26 years old, I live in Ocean City, and I absolutely love working with kids! I started babysitting when I was probably 12 years old and grew up with my mom being a teacher and was always around her students. I always knew I wanted to work with kids. For the past year I’ve worked at Cape May County Special Services and have learned so much. I got into nannying during the pandemic when everything was closed. I nannied a girl when she was one and a half up until she was about three and a half, when they moved back to their home state. I built an amazing relationship with her and her family, and I believe a lot of that came from mutual respect and trust in each other with like-minded goals for their daughter. What makes me a Read more great nanny is my creativity, patience, understanding, and eagerness. I love seeing kids grow and discover the world from curiosity, guidance, and learning from mistakes.
