I have been a professional nanny for 6 years. My nanny journey first started with a loving family with 3 children for over 2 years. When the child began preschool, it was sadly time to find another family to provide my nanny services to. I have been with the 2nd and current family for 4 years. When I started, the children were 17 months old, twin girls! Shortly after the twins 2nd birthday their baby sister was born. The twins are now 5, their younger sister is 3 and there is the newest addition of baby girl number 4! My 8+ hour day begins with arriving in the early morning and preparing the children's breakfast and packing lunches for the twins (on school days). I drive and accompany all 3 girls to their daily scheduled activities. When we are not bustling around our downtime together is spent doing things such Read more as: arts and crafts, playing at the park, reading at the library, completing errands like grocery shopping, and occasional trips to museums or educational outings. After a busy day, the girls are put down for nap. During nap time, I clean the kitchen/eating area, do the girls laundry, pick up toys and straighten up. I occasionally care for the children from my first family, on evenings and weekends. I prepare the children dinner, help with homework, bathe younger children if needed, play board games and set up activities to keep them preoccupied with one another and eventually settle everyone down with a story, from books or from our imaginations! I am creative, easygoing, reliable and have a strong empathy for others. I create a productive and positive environment with the children I care for. I love to see them smile and cheer them on to succeed.
