I am PhD student at Rutgers studying marine biology. My free time, when I am not studying, is spent hiking with my dog, at the beach, or with my family and friends. Im looking to baby sit on weekends or anytime during the week that fits with my class schedule. I have 6 years of experience working with children. My experiences include being a summer camp counselor, swimming instructor and nanny/babysitter. I also volunteered teaching dance lessons to children with special needs for 6 years. I am passionate about working with children as it brings me joy to see them learn and succeed. Some of my good qualities include patience, reliability and creativity.

I am a trustworthy, nurturing, and dedicated childcare professional with extensive experience providing individualized care for infants and young children. I am passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that support each child's developmental needs, and I enjoy incorporating crafts, play-based learning, and daily routines that encourage independence and curiosity. I care for children as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, emotional well-being, and growth. My childcare experience began during high school, where I volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club and later worked as a summer counselor for children in grades K-5. After returning from college, I was offered a lead teacher role in a two-year-old classroom at a daycare due to my strong background and ability to connect with young children. I was later moved to the three-year-old classroom, where my supervisor valued my hands-on teaching style and ability to engage older toddlers. I also worked in a school-based literacy support program, assisting children with reading and language development after school. This role strengthened my ability to build confidence, patience, and individualized learning strategies. While I enjoyed working with school-aged children, I found that my passion lies in early childhood and one-on-one care. In July 2024, I transitioned from daycare to a private nanny position, caring for an 11-month-old child who is now nearly two years old. I loved building a strong, trusting bond with both the child and the family, and I supported the child's development through age-appropriate activities, routines, and play. As the child prepares to transition into a school program, I am now seeking a new long-term nanny position. In addition to my nanny experience, I have worked in an infant room at a daycare, provided overnight care as a night nurse for newborns, and supported families by helping establish healthy sleep routines. Families I have worked with consistently describe me as responsible, dependable, and mature for my age. I take my role very seriously and strive to give parents peace of mind through reliability, communication, and attentive care. I am currently relocating to New Jersey and looking forward to joining a new family where I can build meaningful connections and provide consistent, loving support. My current employer is happy to provide references. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

I love being a babysitter because caring for children has always been my passion. As a certified teacher with over 25 years of experience, I bring patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of child development to every family I work with. I truly enjoy helping children grow, and feel safe, while having fun. In addition to my teaching background, I am CPR trained and committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment. Babysitting allows me to continue doing what I love most-supporting children and giving parents a peace of mind. I have references upon request.

Hi I noticed a job opening on Indeed for an assistant teacher. I truly believe that I would be a good fit for any classroom I am placed in! I would like to take a moment and tell you about my student teaching experiences during my high school career. I have been a student teacher at Maple Glen Elementary, Thomas Fitz's Elementary, Jarrettown Elementary, and Fort Washington Elementary for 6 years. While I was there my jobs would include, preparing supplies, organizing, walking kids to office/nurse, taking small groups out in the hallway for learning time, playing at recess, cleaning and helping the teacher anyway they needed. I also would volunteer with the Head start Program, in which I would help teach, feed and play with the students. A specific moment I believe exemplifies my experience and dedication was when a kindergarten student with certain learning disabilities was being disruptive during a lesson. With the teacher's support, I went over to him, calmed him down, tried explaining the material specifically to him, and ultimately helped get reenaged with the lesson. In addition to student teaching in elementary schools, I helped out for several years at my dance studio. I would teach classes for the younger students and help take care of them, assist the owner in keeping the studio clean and setting up the studios for classes. For more information please email me, I sincerely believe that I would be a great addition to your school culture and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you and your staff. Thank you for your time and consideration, Emily Eskew

Hello! I’ve got a lot of hands-on experience with kids since I’m the aunt of five little ones. Taking care of them has taught me a ton about managing different ages and personalities, from toddlers to school-age kids. I also have many years of experience babysitting outside of my family. I studied at Catholic University and am currently at UMGC, so I’ve got a solid background in child development and caregiving. I’m an energetic, outdoorsy person who loves the ocean. While I don’t have any formal babysitting certifications, I’ve learned everything I know from real-life experience and just loving being around kids!
