I've always had a close connection with children. Being the oldest sibling and cousin comes with many responsibilities that I use as an advantage now. I'v been babysitting, nannying, teaching and mentoring children ages 1-15 for about five years now. I work well with children because I have no problems getting down and dirty. I enjoy playing around and making children laugh. I especially enjoy it when the children get to learn at the same time. Teaching and mentoring gave me the opportunity to do what I love best, teaching and taking care of children. I recently returned home from Thailand, after two years, where I was an English teacher for students ages 2-18. It was the most amazing adventure I've ever been on. Before leaving, I was a nanny for a lovely 3 (now 5) year old boy. I still keep in touch with the family so I was able to watch him grow from half way around the world. As of lately, I nannied for a beautiful now 1 year old baby girl, on occasions I would also care for her 4 year old sister. I took care of her every need and kept a daily log for her parents to reference after their long days at work. I would love to get the opportunity to connect with another family!
