Hello! I recently moved to Albuquerque from Georgia and would love to do some occasional babysitting for a family nearby. I have greatly enjoyed working with children as a babysitter, camp counselor, and online English teacher. I was active as a sitter about ten years ago when I cared for several children with a few different families in the evenings to give their parents the night off. I provided this service a few nights a week. I supervised dinner time and bath time. Then I told bedtime stories and sang songs until they fell asleep. When my sister's child was very young, I helped to look after him and helped him with daily activities. This provided me with my experience caring for an infant. I have been a summer camp counselor for groups of 5-10 kids, ages 8-12, often with the help of a co-counselor. We did nature activities, arts Read more and crafts, and games. I worked as a camp counselor for about 10 years. One semester, I designed and taught an after-school arts program for 5th graders in public school. I currently teach English online to students aged 4-17. At this time, I would like to work with one child at a time so that I can provide high-quality, focused attention. I am detail oriented, reliable and love kids and friendly pets! I live near Lomas and Tramway in NE Albuquerque and would like to work for a family within five miles of my home. I can begin after May 25, which will be two weeks after my second vaccination shot. I will also have my Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications up to date at that time.
