Hi! My name is Eja pronounced asia. I’m 20 years old and born and raised in Albuquerque. I graduated from Atrisco Heritage Academy in 2024 and enrolled in CNMs biotechnology promgram. My schooling is currently on hold as I don’t receive financial support from the school or government. I like to be a sitter because I enjoy being part of a child’s development and seeing them grow. I find helping children reach milestones to be really rewarding. I have never been a formal sitter but I was a Registered Behavioral Technician for 2.5 years. I mainly had clients age 4-7 but I did sub on client from 1yr-14yrs old. As an RBT I have experience with meal time, teaching new skills, potty training, teaching functional and fine motor skills, emotional regulation, aggression and behaviors, as well as a plethora of other skills. I also have 2 nieces age 3 and Read more 1 who I used to baby sit regularly up until last summer when my sister moved away. Due to this I don’t have just academic/ professional skills but also the skills that come from natural environments like playing, and keeping a child engaged and off a screen! In my free time I enjoy pilates, I model, and I’m a social media marketing manager. I love geography, history, and fun facts. I’m looking forward to meeting new families!
