Hello! My name is Raeanne Snow and I just graduated with my bachelors in social work and minor in counseling and educational psychology. I am currently working on my masters at NMSU. I am offering child, senior, and pet care as well as household services. Childcare services - I have worked with children for 2 years ages 7 and up at Mesilla Valley Hospital as a technician where I was responsible for responding to their physical and emotional needs at some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. I also worked with adolescent clients in our outpatient department, creating and engaging the kiddos in activities to promote mental health and wellbeing. I am continuing developing my skills and experience with children with my internship this fall where I will be learning to conduct play therapy, art therapy, and animal therapy. At the hospital, I have garnered skills such as taking vital signs and assisting nurses with providing medical care. Pet services - In my current internship beginning this fall I am helping to conduct therapy where children process emotions by connecting with animals like horses and donkeys. Household services - I currently maintain my own home, doing chores for my busy partner who works as a nurse. I have experience assisting clients with their physical needs at the hospital including hygiene, food, laundry, bedding, and cleaning. I have also worked at a hotel and a deli and understand cleanliness standards and food safety. I believe being responsive to children with a kind, empathetic, and excited attitude helps fulfill their basic needs of feeling safe and loved.
