I have been working with children my entire life as I am the second eldest of eight children (four sisters and three brothers). During high school, I spent a majority of my weekends either watching after siblings or children of family friends. Immediately out of high school I started working as a Summer Youth Camp counselor in addition to volunteering as a coach at various sport camps in my off time. I worked at a recreation center to pay for college (major in health and a minor in recreation) during which time I coached teams in our youth basketball program and taught swimming lessons. After college I proceeded to supervise lifeguards and the city youth summer program for children aged 3-14. I come from a long line of educators as my grandmother is a superintendent, my father is a teacher and coach, and my aunt is an assistant principal (about Read more to be promoted to principal in the fall). I am currently a long term substitute at a middle school for CCSD where I teach math. In the fall I will have received a teachers license to that I may teach full time. My summer schedule is completely open and flexible, I have a car and valid drivers license. I grew up with various pets (dogs, a few hamsters, and fish) and currently own two dogs. I did not grow up with cats because my father is allergic but I love them and enjoy their company as well. I am available to work as soon as June 3, 2016 but can start immediately if needed only nights and weekends. I look forward to working with you and caring for your fantastic children!
