Hello my name is Gilda Espinoza and I am a bilingual elementary school major. I am also studying towards a BAS in Deaf Studies and a minor in 2D art. I graduated with my associates in elementary school education. I am very passionate about children and want to be that representation/role model I never had growing up as an Afro-latina. I come from a multicultural background and I am able to speak English, Spanish, and French. I have been working with children for a little over 5 years; including various organizations that provide tutoring for elementary school children. As well as encouraging Latinx youth to attend a higher education.I am a very creative person and will soon start my minors in graphic arts to continue with my passion. I am CPR certified, do not smoke, don’t drink, or party as a matter of fact.
