My name is Camila, I was born in 1987 in Brazil. I currently have more than 7 years of professional experience with children of all ages but specialized in newborn care, preemies, multiples, special needs and personal assistance. I'm a very patient person, creative, I love arts and crafts (face painting included!), humorous, mature, professional, responsible, very helpful, efficient and essentially, I love children. They are my passion and they will always be! I'm constantly looking to improve my skills and staying updated through reading, additional training and continuing education. Then in 2007 I had the opportunity to come to the US as an Au Pair/Newborn Care Specialist ('Baby Nurse'). I could never give up watching children even when I worked in the corporate field. In 2010 I moved to a city that had a very large number of military families. I got very touched by the fact many moms (or even dads) were by themselves while their spouses were deployed serving this country. I've decided to babysit for these military families after office hours and that only made me realize that caring for children and serving families are what I really love to do. I'm fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and would love to work with families that speak those languages.

Camila was very quick in her responses when I contacted her in the afternoon to see if she was free that same evening. We agreed upon a time and she was perfectly on time. As we were on holiday and our daughter can not speak English we waited until she was asleep. I immediately got a comfortable feeling from Camila and knew that I could trust her to stay with our daughter. She is really sweet and polite, I would highly recommend her to anyone that is thinking of having a night for themselves while staying in Vegas with kids! She helped us enormously that night and gave us a great date night to end our holiday!

I was very happy that Camila helped us out with babysitting our babyboy while we were on little vacation in Vegas! She was very responsible - always came in time and she also was flexible with hours, and could come on short notice. I'm very satisfied with her work and would recommend her to other parents. Would definitely contact her next year if we go to Vegas again.

My husband and I are both pediatricians, and Camila babysat for our daughter from the time she was 7 weeks old until we moved away from Virginia when our daughter was 13 months. Camila is fantastic. My daughter adored her and I always felt comfortable leaving her with Camila. Camila took care of our daughter on overnights and when she was sick, and I new that our baby was in wonderful hands. My only regret about Camila is that I couldn't take her with us when we moved out of state!

Camila was great with our 15 month old!! She sent me text updates throughout the night since she knew I had never left my son before. I felt so comfortable leaving my son in her care; she's a very sweet person and we are so glad we found her!

Camila is the best babysitter we've had! My daughter loved her and always asked for her. She's very experience with kids (infants and toddlers) and loves them so much. You will see how much fun your kids have with her when you come home. Too bad our schedule doesn't work for her any more! We will definitely hire her if she's available for us.
