Hi! I think I would be a great fit for your position! I have almost 8 years of experience in childcare including working at a church nursery, nannying, coaching swim lessons and soccer too. I love to spend time with kids and watch them grow and develop. I currently am planning to take remote classes for the fall so I will have a fairly flexible schedule. I am also social distancing and hoping to find a family who is as well. I am a student at UNR with two majors, Human Development/Family Studies as well as Social Work. I also have a minor in Substance Abuse Treatment. I am passionate about what I study and I find babysitting/nannying a fun way to see what I am learning about Human Development in the real world. I typically charge 15/hr, but I am flexible to your family's needs if necessary. I love Read more to be outdoors and try to be active with the kids I watch as much as I can. My favorite things are soccer, swimming and adventures. I like to go on park outings, walks, play in the neighborhood and sometimes take the kiddos into town for activities such as the library or Discovery Museum if that is something the parents are comfortable with (when it is safe to do so with the current status of the world). I occasionally will use TV as a re-group type of tool if things are getting too crazy or if the kiddos are too tired from play and activities, I think it is a great tool if used correctly and if family rules are followed for TV time.
