Hello!  My name is Lisa.  I am 27 years old.  I am a graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno.  I was a double major in Psychology and Art with an emphasis in Photography.  I am currently a part-time nanny for an amazing family that I have been with for over three years. Since 2003, I have cared for children from the age of 0 (newborn) to the age of about 12.  My favorite age group would have to be 2-3 years because that is when they are full of energy.  I am comfortable with all ages.  I was fully responsible for the children.  I helped with potty training and homework.  This included reading, math, and science.  My favorite subjects to teach are basic/beginning Algebra.  I love doing arts and crafts with children.  You may even find me coloring a yellow unicorn!  I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters from Read more 2008 to 2011.  I am currently doing a volunteer intership with the children's pastor at my church.  When I was about 12, I volunteered in the children’s ministry at my church.  I was one of the volunteer teachers.   Other than babysitting/nannying, I can take care of various pets.  I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, African dwarf frogs, hermit crabs, turtles, and hamsters. I can care for pets at owners’ homes.  I currently own a "zoo" as some people tell me because I always have a lot of pets.   True happiness comes from children.  Children have the ability to share their happiness with the world to make it a better place.
