I'm a licensed clinical social worker and have years of experience working with infants, toddlers, kids and teens in both a childcare /sitting capacity and in therapeutic settings. I’m CPR/first aid/AED certified (valid through May 2027). I'd describe my approach as warm, calm, and nonjudgmental. I currently work as an adolescent therapist and early intervention instructor with ages 0-3, and hope to one day start my own play therapy practice for neurodivergent children and their families. I genuinely enjoy engaging with children and value creating a space where they feel safe, heard, and comfortable. I love meeting kids where they're at, and taking time to connect with them on their unique interests, sense of humor, and communication style. My engagement style is adapted to fit the needs of each individual child. I enjoy incorporating safe, developmentally appropriate, and fun activities during childcare, such as agreed upon park outings, board games, Read more puzzles, reading, drawing/coloring, crafts, sensory play, science experiments, and more.
