Meet Anna

• Comfortable with pets

I studied theater in college but upon graduating I discovered I didn’t like the business of acting nearly as much as I loved acting itself. I continued to audition for some time, supporting myself with babysitting and nannying jobs, but eventually I abandoned acting and pursued child care full time. Studying theater definitely helped me to connect with children- i think imaginative play is crucial and feel I have a special ability to foster such play and creative thinking, as well as creative problem solving. I do my best to provide a safe space in which kids feel comfortable letting their imaginations run wild, without fear of judgement. I encourage them to foster their creativity in all its many forms, without labeling them as certain type(s) of people. I’m energetic, empathetic, and deeply Read more caring- qualities that are essential to good childcare, and while I've been told that they are not necessarily teachable; i find that children often follow the lead of a good example, and in many cases their inate empathy sets a pretty high bar. I love my job.
