I am a person who's enthusiastic, nurturing and love children. I am creative and able to implement fun activities and crafts for children. My experience working at the Alfred Montessori School, New County Day Camp and as a personal babysitter has taught me the skills needed to provide a nurturing, safe and fun environment for children of all ages. I have taken courses such as social development, parenting seminar and child psychopathology and I have learned the art of interacting with children in an effective and efficient manner while receiving my undergraduate degree at Alfred University. While working at the Alfred Montessori School I have learned how to allow small children to be independent and to make the right decisions. While working at New Country Day Camp, I learned the art of communicating with children and parents, how to engage them, and how to properly explain to them, they are Read more engaging in an undesirable behavior and then following up with, explaining a more desirable behavior they could engage in instead. Lastly, while working with the Owens family, I was able to effectively handle four small children at a given time. I learned how to effectively communicate with the family, in order to create a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children.
