Dear New Family, I am excited to annouce that I am looking for a warm and caring family to join as a Friend, Nanny, and Child’s Play expert. My name is Teresa and I am a native New Yorker with extensive experience in infant and child safety and development. A lot of my previous Nanny experiences have been abroad (Austraila, China, and Malawi) because I worked to support myself while studying, traveling, and volunteering in the public health and youth development sector. In 2020, due to the COVID19 pandemic I returned home to Brooklyn before lockdown. My Linkedin profile will show my professional public health education and background, while my resume will highlight my Nanny skills and experience. Some of my Nanny gigs may seem short but most of these jobs were recommended by friends and families who I met through traveling. I worked so well all my families because Read more I pay great attention to details, I am an amazing chef, and their children loved spending time with me. My educational background is in health promotion specialized in initiatives addressing health disparities to support vulnerable populations and since my passion is working with families, many of my past projects are specalized in maternal and child health, health literacy, and health eudcation. Most of my friends and family live in NYC and now I plan to stay and grow with a family building strong culturally diverse relationships and exciting children about learning through creative play. I hope we get a chance to meet and learn more about each other. I believe that you will quickly learn that I am responsible, creative, patient, kind, and energetic. I have worked with children and their families since 2012 and I believe that being a Nanny or caretaker is more then just a “babysitter”role. I have cherished our relationships and I often keep in touch because I really feel like I am a part of their family.
