Hello! I'm currently happily working a part-time job from home after having worked in the corporate world over the past two decades. I'm now much more interested in quality of life and doing good and meaningful things in the world. I love kids and hope to adopt someday with my partner. Until then, I'd enjoy spending time caring for and nurturing your child(ren). I haven't babysat in many years, but I have very fond memories of babysitting some of the children in my neighborhood back in La Crosse, WI while I was in high school. My sister, who is two years older than me, used to babysit the children, but she eventually obtained a regular part-time job that she worked after school and on the weekends. I took over her two babysitting jobs on our block. (I also mowed their lawn!) One family had a baby boy and a three Read more year old boy, approximately. The other family had three young children. I enjoyed playing with them and spending time outdoors as much as possible. Even at my young age at the time, I felt a strong sense of responsibility and care for the children. My sister now has two children, who are now teenagers, and I have a couple of friends with young children, so I've definitely spent a good amount of time with them eating, sleeping and playing over the years. I also spent a semester teaching Spanish to 6th, 7th & 8th graders as part of my teaching degree requirements. I can promise you that I'll be a devoted, trustworthy and caring sitter, who will put the safety and needs of your child before anything else. As a bonus, I speak Spanish very well, having majored in it, as well as having studied and worked in Spain. I could teach your child some Spanish, too. Thank you for considering me! Neil B.
