I babysat for neighborhood families in high-school, but in the past year I have started my career working with children, and I love it! I am the director of communications and program director at a non-profit education start up in New Orleans called Electric Girls that teaches kids the basics of electronics building and programming. I have been working with girls and boys ages 5-14 for the past year at summer camps and weekly workshops through Electric Girls. I also babysit for a family in the uptown neighborhood 2-3 times per week. I have a part time job through my university, but would like to focus my time/income on child care so that I can gain experience and enjoy my work, as I love working with kids!
