My name is Lisenia but the families I work with call me Liz. I am currently a teacher for the DOE in NYC and I am extremely passionate about sports and in staying physically active. I love to be outdoors, explore my community and stay energized throughout the day! I find that I can relate to a lot of the kids I work with because I like or listen to many of the things they do (movies especially)! Education wise: I have a Master's Degree in Childhood Education from Hunter College and a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from Brooklyn College. I have also worked at the New York Kids Club and sit for some of the kids I taught there. Babysitting wise: I currently sit for a family in the Park Slope neighborhood during the weekend. The former family I worked with was on a more permanent basis during Read more the school year and I provided after school care with duties including dinner prep, bathing, and fun exploration activities. I try to always bring a fun, loving and positive attitude and try to emulate that onto the children in my care. I am careful, responsible, easy going, easily accessible and extremely passionate about what I do! I have 8 years of childcare/babysitting experience, with children ranging from 2 yrs. old to 13 years old., and I can tell you more about that and myself in person if you and your little one would like to meet in person to see if this potential match would work!
