Recent college graduate with a BA in Psychology. I’ve worked at Packer Collegiate institute with pre-k-4th grade, and was an after school aid for the auxiliary programs. After 2 years at Packer I applied to work for The Imagine School of Swimming, where I taught swim lessons to a variety of students. Ages ranged from 8 months-11 years old. I also held a part-time job teaching private swim lessons to a brother & sister, ages 6 and 8. Throughout my college career I held multiple part time babysitting positions and most recently was with a family for an entire year. The kids were 9 & 11. The family was incredible and the children were lovely. I am willing to provide references if need be! Now that I’ve graduated from college I am working as a Paraprofessional one:one aid at Exceed Upper Charter School for a student with emotional disturbance trouble. Read more This job doesn’t feel like “work” to me. Watching every student that I interact with thrive and overcome challenges is so rewarding to me. I am devoted to the development of young children and adolescents, as I understand how critical these stages of life are. I am passionate about helping out and serving families in any capacity they need, in order to support the children as well as their parents.
