I am starting graduate school at Columbia University for public health and am looking for a position for this summer. I have 8 years of paid childcare experience including a camp counselor for 8-12 year olds, an associate at a nursery for 6 weeks- 12 year olds, and a consistent babysitter for many families for children of all ages. Most recently, I was employed as a Therapeutic Assistant for an Early Achievements program at an outpatient treatment center for children 2-6 years old with autism spectrum disorder and other communicative and behavioral disorders. I also have a younger brother with autism so I am very comfortable caring for children with special needs and disabilities. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am completely open for this summer and can still help out once the semester starts in September around school.
