I have worked with children for more than 20 years. Beginning as a babysitter for a neighbor's baby, then as a mom, and then six years later as a Pre-K classroom assistant, to eventually teaching and managing my own classrooms. I love working with children of varying ages from birth to pre-teen; they are curious, bright, and imaginative. I love the way their eyes spark with wonder at every new encounter. Helping them express their thoughts and ideas through various art forms has been a particular joy of mine. I am generally quiet and reserved but when I begin to interact with kids I definitely become more animated. I am firm but fair and try my best to see from a child's perspective so that I can assist them in resolving any issues that concern them.
