Hi, I'm Emily! Former elementary teacher, loving auntie and current Brooklyn nanny looking for a full time position, ideally around the Park Slope area (but I’m flexible!). After teaching for 3 years in Baltimore, MD, my husband and I made the move to Brooklyn in 2022. I have since been nannying for one wonderful family; however, their toddler just started PRE-K so I am looking for something with more hours during the week. I have 10+ years of experience with toddlers and elementary aged kids. In college, I nannied for a family with three kids under 5, babysat for other families intermittently and have been taking care of my nieces and nephew for many years (they're teenagers now!). I am easy-going, flexible, a great communicator and quick at thinking on my feet. I am a creative problem-solver and can juggle a lot at once. In my personal life, I am Read more an artist and a writer (my long-term goal is to write and illustrate children's books!). I will keep your kiddos entertained by doodling together, telling them stories, getting them outside and encouraging their curiosity about the world.
