Rosita S.

Rosita worked for us fulltime from 2013 to 2022, starting when my oldest daughter was an infant. She worked with us through tummy time, bottle feeding, solid foods, toilet training, adjusting to preschool, countless playdates and kid classes, playing games, learning to read, doing homework. Rosita is very warm, has great judgment, is completely trustworthy and very competent. Rosita honestly enjoys being with children and is present with the children when she is with them, and that is reflected in the genuine joy that my children have in being with her. Rosita is so punctual that it takes the subway literally shutting down to keep Rosita from getting to work on time. Rosita is energetic and fun. One of her key abilities for us was that she coordinates playdates independently, getting to know other nanny/child pairs in classes and on the playground. She gets the kids outside for fresh air and exercise all year round. She takes them to the library, playgrounds, museums, the zoo and all their classes and playdates. Rosita plays games with the kids, and is far more patient when my younger daughter cheats at every game than I am. Rosita sends photos of the kids and lets us know what is going on with them. Rosita takes care of lunch and healthy snacks and often dinner. Rosita has been a true partner in getting us through the early years with the kids. She recognizes age appropriate behavior in the children and is incredibly warm and loving. She has great judgment and takes her responsibilities toward the children very seriously. Rosita has been incredibly responsible with my daughter who has food allergies and requires an epipen. She keeps a watchful eye on the children on the playground. Other parents who have seen Rosita with the kids at the playground or in classes consistently praise her.
