My name is Christa and I love working with children. I always knew I wanted to work with young children as I was growing up with a large family. Now, I am blessed with two daughters, ages 5 years and 16 months. I recently graduated with my associates degree in early childhood education and also have my NYS teachers assistant certification. Upon graduating, I got a job in a daycare as an assistant infant teacher and was promoted to the lead preschool teacher within a few months. I am a substitute at the Catskill Elementary School so I am looking for a summer babysitting job now that school is out. I am comfortable taking care of children from newborn age and up. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I know how important it is to find a caring, nurturing and trustworthy person to take care of your children Read more as that is what I would want for my own. I met with Christa on Thursday and she got along well with the kids. I was all set to ask her to sit for us Saturday so we could attend a concert I spent $200 for tickets to. I think its great that she got a full time nanny job, but I should have been told that she was at least looking for one and might not be available. I wish her the best of luck, but seeing as how we just met yesterday, I am really upset with the way this went.
