I am currently pregnant and am due in May. I am looking to watch another infant or toddler in my own home or your home after my baby arrives. We can coordinate a daily or weekly rate instead of an hourly rate. Most recently I was a nanny to a 6 month old boy all the way up until he was 2. I cooked, cleaned, did the boys laundry, and took care of their pets. I am still in contact with the family and see them from time to time. For 6 years I was a nanny for 2 young boys. When I started, the boys were 9 months and 3 years old. I would prepare meals, take them to the playground, put them to bed, do the dishes, take care of their dogs, etc. I also was employed as an assistant teacher at Storybook Child Care. I was the Read more assistant teacher in the preschool room, toddler room, and the infant room. Most of my time was spent with the infants. I created activities for the children to do to help them learn. Sensory play is huge for infants and my personal favorite! I do know some sign language to teach the kids when they are nonverbal so that way they can still communicate. I am familiar and okay with cloth diapers. I ak comfortable with watching two kidd plus my own. I love working with kids and watching them grow up and learn.
