Good evening, I am Helena a 34 year old mother of three, my children are 16,15 and 12 therefore I have plenty of experience with children of all ages. I maintain schedules and structure while I am caring for my own as well as others children, for example my rules go as follows if the child attends school that will be were they are during the day afternoon school hours before any personal time the child must get their assignments given from their teachers done and submitted to each class, once they have successfully done schooling and assignments than their responsibilities must get done if the parents has given any chores. Once all the requirements are finished than the child/children may enjoy the rest of their evening. During this time frame I myself would be caring for the children as in if they're hungry thirsty maybe need help with something Read more in regards to their assignments or chores given. I always clean any dish or mess made during my time at the house hold, if the parents request full house cleaned and or following their children and cleaning up behind them the price range of my service will determine on what the parents are actually looking to hire for just a babysitter, nanny, housekeeper. Now with toddlers I also keep schedule with feeding naps and other activities depending on the age range, I do follow and pick up after toddlers they are still young and learning which I would have the toddler help clean up their toys rather than do it for them so they can learn a clean house is a happy house. For infants I will require detail information in regards to feeding bathing changing ways they fall asleep music collic ext. For all children I do require a list of allergies if any as well as the parents rules they have set for their children so that I myself could the rules of their parents, also will require emergency contact numbers in case of emergency and you are not reachable, the child's primary care facility as well as hospital the parents use for emergency use if any if needed. A list of what medication times needed and or what maybe required for their children when medicine is taken. I do not physically discipline another person child but I do discipline the child it needed with no t.v no access to internet no phones corner time as well as sending to time out in a separate room not their own since they would have access to things they enjoy. Depending on what the child is being discipline for will determine the hours and or minutes the time outs would last. I do not allow any children to disrespect me or others including their siblings they must be respectful, no cursing during my presence, if the child is under the age 10 I don't agree with alot of sugar including soda beverage's unless the parents tell me otherwise. Sorry for the details of my service's but I believe it's best to be straight forward about myself and how I care for another person child/children and I will not tolerate anything less.
