I am an award-winning educator with a sterling reputation who is highly respected in our community. I have dedicated my life to working with children. My early career I taught English 101102 courses at Marymount College while working on my first Masters Degree (MFA) My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Child Psychology . I chaired the English Department at East Hampton High School, and the East Hampton Middle School, while studying for my second Masters Degree in Educational Technology. After 30 years in the classroom; I transitioned to private Governorship/Nanny role for a very high profile couple who had triplets. I cared for them from early birth through toddler stage, traveling the world and living between many of the principals' households. I was responsible for guiding the children through all the developmental stages of the two boys and one girl. I was recognized for my work as a child advocate, volunteering my time for any local child in need. Serving on the board of directors, of The Greater East Hampton Education Foundation, my primary work is overseeing the scholarship committee, reading the hundreds of essays students write to be awarded college scholarships. I have chaired the educational component of a local arts institute and designed programs for 25 years which impact children's lives with the arts. I have worked with the United Nations and the International Office of Immigration curating film programs for local children on the East End, delving into the themes of compassion, justice and, animal rights, I have produced many shows for kids to stand up to bullying. Myriad programs that we might discuss in an interview, all tailored to help children of all ages. I would like to go back into private work once again. I have won many grants for the work I have done, have been honored as Mother of the Year by our local paper. I was a candidate/ finalist for Disney Teacher of the Year Award; I have being featured in international's publications Women Across Frontiers for the work I have done with promoting children and the arts. I still have great enthusiasm for working with a child whose parents want the very best for their little one. I could supply them with letters of recommendation outlining my qualifications. I have the best credentials and love to work with kids!
