Hello... A little bit about myself. I am TEFL/Grammar certified and just returned from a teaching contract in the Black Sea region of Turkey. I am also a Level III Administrator for childcare and am certified in Early Childhood Education in the state of North Carolina. Enhancing my credentials further, I also possess a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. My education is substantiated by experience. I have taught both, children of all ages and adults. Most recently, I taught Kindergarten and First Grade English overseas. Prior to that, I worked as the Director and Lead Teacher of an after school program here in the United States. I was responsible for 40 children, ages 5-12 and seven staff members. The previous summer was spent working in Venice, Italy as a private English language tutor. I have taught preschool in the past and worked as a Read more substitute teacher, in three school districts for nearly 10 years. I taught all grades, subjects and levels. Going beyond public and private schools, I also taught an adult literacy class and was a Vocational Training Specialist for Goodwill Industries. In short, I am seeking to better apply the skills and knowledge I have obtained from travel, experience and professional level education.
