I am currently employed at Monroe #1 Boces at the 0’Connor Academy. This is an alternative high school for students age 14-21. Currently I’m a paraprofessional that is seeking a teacher’s assistant position. I have been employed there for 15 years. Recently I was hired to work for the YMCA daycare at the Fairport Baptist Home. I was required to take and pass (which I did) a medical examination including TB test; DOHSS child abuse screening; criminal records check and Child Care Worker Registry. Due to a family obligation, I had to regretfully turn the job down. During high school I worked after school at Gerber Children Center with children from toddler age and up. This led to several babysitting jobs. I adore babies and children of all ages, as is evident by my employment choices.
