My first caregiver experience was when I was 12 years old working as a mother's helper with a year old and her two month old sister. I have watched children as young as 2 months to 14 years old including some with developmental delays and those on the autism spectrum. Because of my affinity for working with children, I became a special education teacher assistant and tutored after school in all academic areas. I have a bachelor's in biology and received EMT-B training. I currently am in my last semester of graduate school at NYU pursuing a master's in occupational therapy to work with pediatrics.
