I am originally from California but moved to New York because my husband is in the military. When I was in California I was a nanny for four children; the ages of 7, 9, 11, and 13. I would arrive at the house at 6:30am, wake the children up, prepare breakfast as well as school lunches. I would make sure they completed their morning chores and had all their homework in their backpacks. When the kids arrived at home I would make them snacks and dinner. My other duties included helping the children with homework, making sure their rooms were clean, driving them to and from extra curricular activities. My favorite duty was keeping them entertained and teaching them new things such as a math problem or how to do a cartwheel. I really enjoyed being a nanny and hope I get another opportunity.
