My life has always been centered around caring for others. Whether it be babysitting growing up, taking care of my younger family members, working as a home care aide, or now, working for New York Presbyterian Hospital (NYP). I am a soon-to-be college graduate (majoring in exercise science) looking for a job before I continue my education to become a medical professional. I am a hard working, driven student, but also a fun-loving, compassionate woman who loves to spend time with people. I have babysat for neighbors and family members since I was about fourteen years old, and I still do when I get the chance for my nieces and nephews. Moreover, I have been a home care aide for the past two years, taking care of a non-ambulatory woman with CP. My current position is as a student intern for NYP Queens in the cardiac rehabilitation department working under Read more nurses, doctors, and exercise physiologists to help cardiac patients perform their prescribed exercise programs and recover from a cardiac event. Almost every job I've ever had focuses on personal care, exercise, nutrition, and living life to the fullest. After taking care of clinical populations for the past few years, I would love to be able to be a nanny and work with kids again. I am CPR and First Aid Certified with the American Heart Association.
